Mara Restaurant & Hotel in Diessen

Both the hotel and the restaurant are really highly recommended. Super nice staff and everything was very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was extremely tasty. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We were at the Mara yesterday and we are very enthusiastic. We were greeted very friendly at the door and shown to the table. The drinks came very quickly and we were able to look at the menu in peace. We had the warm starters first which are very plentiful. The main course is baby calamari from the grill and baked eggplant (vegan). Both were very, very tasty. The staff is very friendly, attentive and competent. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent! Were yesterday for dinner with a larger group in the Mara restaurant. Great atmosphere in a quiet location with pleasant water splashing from the neighboring stream. (We were “served” mosquito repellent first, but we didn't need it.) Great service, very relaxed and friendly. Are in a good mood and take time for their guests, even if the restaurant is very busy. Since we sat outside in the beer garden and blankets were brought in if we should get cold. Drinks great, the dishes first class! In terms of taste, a delight for the palate and prepared with love. By far the best Turkish cuisine so far ? The winding and slightly secluded path to the Mara Restaurant & Hotel is always worthwhile for a relaxed, cozy, delicious meal. PS: There is parking in front of the door.

Sometimes you find a place where everything is right. This is one of them. Very hospitable and friendly staff, quiet and rural location, beautiful rooms, delicious food and try the Turkish wines. An absolute must!

We stayed at the hotel / restaurant Mara for one night. Hotel: The reception was very courteous despite all the Corona measures. Our room was super nice & clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection! Restaurant: There is nothing left to say but: Top service Great food Top beer garden location And best baklava! We will definitely come again, it is a place of absolute relaxation and wellbeing and enjoyment!

We were eating on a Friday night. Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm on arrival, so the beer garden had to be cleared and the guests were asked inside. Since we arrived at this bad time, there was no space, despite reservation, which could not be blamed for the restaurant. As compensation for the waiting time we each got 2 prosecco on the house. When we got a table, our orders were taken quickly and the drinks were brought to the table as quickly as possible. The starter that we ordered was unfortunately served to us at the same time as the main course, which was the fault of the kitchen. It should be emphasized that the service was perfect all the time. We were always treated very friendly and with great attention and the friendly nature of our 2! Waiter was outstanding. Despite the initial difficulties, we felt very comfortable and were therefore very satisfied! The food itself was top quality and price. Clear recommendation! We will come back next time!

Here as a guest you will find that special something that you miss in so many restaurants and inns! A warm greeting that feels honest. You are always noticed, the service is very attentive and personable. The ambience is super stylish and modern. Everything was clean and tidy. The food was excellent! Both our starter platter and the main courses. The portions are plentiful and the prices very reasonable. Almost cheap for the area. Keep it up, it was a very nice evening!

The restaurant Mara is highly recommended! It is a bit away from the tourist attractions, but if you are looking for excellent and authentic Turkish cuisine, you will not be disappointed here. Always worth a detour!

Nice, well-kept small hotel above the center of Dießen. Very friendly and competent staff. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Good price-performance ratio. We recommend.

The Mara and its hosts are always worth a visit. Excellent, courteous service. The food was really gigantic! Everything cooked fresh and delicious Mediterranean with love. The room was very clean and stylish Bavarian. We look forward to our next short vacation in September. Keep it up!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel really deserves to be recommended. The restaurant alone was a great experience, with probably the best Turkish cuisine in and around Munich. The hotel was very clean, which is incredibly important to me and totally tastefully decorated. What impressed me most was the service and the very pleasant and nice owners. They were simply noted that it is important to them to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will be back for sure!

We didn't stay there at this occasion, but we went there for dinner almost every evening during our stay at Dießen Am Ammersee. It is a lovely, quiet Turkish restaurant to eat. The staff is very friendly, service is great, the food is delicious and light. It is nicely decorated and you feel very welcome.
